31 weeks!

Today, we hit 31 weeks gestation. I can't believe this baby will be here in 8-10 weeks (or less)! To answer everyone's favorite questions, we are still waiting to find out the sex and we are still deciding on names. This baby sure is active, though. It is neat to start seeing the sleep and wake patterns, but usually around 6am and 6pm are baby's favorite times to be crazy. Yesterday, I was getting a pedicure during this later time, and you should have seen my belly dancing around! I don't know what exactly, it (yes, I call it "it" all the time, sorry) was doing in there, but it was definitely fun to watch. Also, I know it is normal for babies to have hiccups in utero, but is it normal for it to happen at least once a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times?! I know (from all the ultrasounds) that this baby loves sucking on his/her hand and amniotic fluid, but really...that's a lot of hiccups. Of course, this child is trying to defy what I am typing by being very active at this very moment - 11 am, not usually one of the more active times, but I have seen this time becoming more popular lately. The favorite place for the bottom (which it sticks out constantly) is a couple inches above my belly button and to the left of center. Must have to stick it out so there is room for those long legs! If it's not to the left, it will be to the right around the same level, but it seems baby has preferred the one side more than the other since the beginning since the very first movement I felt on Thanksgiving Day was in the exact spot...to the left diagonally from my navel. Well, I guess that's enough for now. One of the best newsie items yet is that this baby's daddy will finally be home to feel it moving all around within the next couple weeks! We can't wait!

More from last week...

30 weeks - 1 high belly!

30 weeks from the front(ish).
Viv getting the belly painting started! She was very nervous to get outside the lines or hurt my belly button, but she did a great job and even started with a cute little face! :)

Hope you all enjoyed the finished product below!

The Cookey Baby has a friend who was born on February 2. Here is little Samuel with his very proud parents and with me (and his friend to be).

Baby Blue Project

Here is a pic of my latest project worn by the recipient. I didn't even think of it when I started using the baby blue, but check out those eyes with this hat!

27 weeks and counting

Here are pics I took of myself at 27 weeks (January 24). My co-worker happened to see them today when I was showing her pics of other things and said I have definitely grown in the past week and a half and need to take more. So, to be continued... (as the growing continues).

New name

Upon Cpt. Loeffert's request, blog has been renamed Cookey Crumbles. Thanks to those of you who have commented on my first post...just happened to be all those of you who I have been stalking on here and who have given me the inspiration. :)
