Thrush leads to St.Goar

Michaela and I (Amber) have been battling thrush/yeast this week and both have had a stressful, frustrating week. Michael also had a long week (even though it was short) at work, and we all needed to get out of the small confines of govt. housing. So, we moseyed up the Rhine to a small town we had not been to before - St. Goar. Nothing too extraordinary about this town (compared to other Rhine towns), and we had to take turns eating dinner while there so the other could walk/bounce a fussy Michaela, but it definitely was a needed excursion, and we enjoyed it. Just driving along the Rhine is beautiful. Always a good day/weekend when we can get off base and remember and enjoy that we live in Germany!
P.S. The first two photos are Michaela with gentian violet (treatment for thrush) staining her mouth.
